We have decided to go one step further than our competitors. Our goal is to increase our vertical integration to a maximum to ensure full control regarding quality and technical specifications.
Other Signal Light Column Systems often have two alarm-sounder due to MED requirements for Fire Alarm. We only wanted one and developed our AGM410, the only one alarm-sounder solution on the market. Our sounder has 9 alarm inputs, where each of these inputs can be configured with a selection of 64 maritime alarm sounds, including the MED approved 800Hz fire alarm sound.
Most Signal Light Column System have three different strobe lights with different colors. We created one for all (incl. Green-White). Our vision is, that in the future all Signal Light Columns will only have one multi-color strobe light. Our MFL-7 does not only combine all 7 colors in one strobe light, it has also especially been designed for an extended life cycle in extreme environmental conditions.
For some projects (e.g. Cruise Vessels) cable length and cable diameter play a significant role. Some Signal Light Column maker started to use industrial modbus communication systems to counteract these issues. Based on our experience this hardware has never been designed to meet the requirements of a Signal Light Column System. We analysed the requirements and developed our own DNV type approved communication bus system, which reliably does all the commissioning work and addressing by itself. This feature permits highest flexibility in terms of system topology, including the possibility to address many different alarm zones easily (e.g. for different CO2 zones). In addition the controller module has an LCD-Diplay where the current system state and potential errors can be identified immediately. The system comes with enhanced fault detection, dead man alarm option and lamp test by default.
