Intelligent, micro controller based acoustics sounder for Light Signal Devices |
The company's latest development is a dynamic acoustics controller (dac) that generates 8 individual
sounds. User is able to adjust easily via settings on each device
a) starting sound level,
b) ending sound level,
c) sound level's rising speed.
This "soft start" will help raise health and safety levels
for personnel working in low noise level environments that do not require ear protection and where
standard alarm systems generating maximum sound levels could damage hearing. During "harbor mode"
selected Light Signal Devices (LSDs) can drop down operating sound level to a comfortable but safety
level, especially used on passenger vessels to avoid unnecessary noise.
A further unique LSAS application could reduce logical controller outputs for 12MW dredger project
in Singapore from 32 to the number of 12. Seven different types of light signal devices located in
various fire fighting zones should be controlled by a centralized control unit. A clever triac
matrix located in each light signal device allowed extracting logic facilities that reduces numbers
of logical controller outputs ended in a 30% hardware save. This triac matrix technology can be
provide as add-on for all standard LSDs.

bi-directional NMEA expansion module catapults "le guardian 2025" to no. 1 of BNWAS retrofit maker |
That module has been designed to meet latest market requirements. NMEA transmitter can provide
current VDR standards.
5 binary inputs with individual time delay adjust (0…30 sec) allow
transferring unacknowledged nautical alarms into back-up OOWs cabins. Those alarms can also be sent
via NMEA protocol to the module.
Last feature is a virtual back-up OOW cabin selector switch. Master can select in a comfortable
manner on "le guardian 2025" operating panel which OOW cabin is receiving stage #2 alarm. Multiple
choice is possible!
